Grace Barrett

MSc, BA(hons), MCSP

Grace is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist treating patients with a wide range of conditions and injuries. Prior to studying physiotherapy, she completed a degree in counselling, coaching and mentoring. Grace is about to embark on a secondment in Active Against Cancer, further broadening her knowledge.

Grace has been a physiotherapist working in the NHS for almost 5 years. 

Her key interest is in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy, but over her time in the NHS Grace has additionally done ward based respiratory work and a secondment in Women’s Health, delivering antenatal and postnatal care. 

She has recently gained certification in APPI Mat work level 1 Pilates and is excited to embark on a secondment in Active Against Cancer. 

Grace has extensive experience and real empathy rehabilitating orthopaedic post-operative patients, due to her own personal experience. She also enjoys working with the elderly, facilitating independence through aiding confidence and mobility. 

Grace has a passion for health, fitness and the great outdoors. In her spare time you will find her in the gym, dog walking, horse riding or spending time with family.
